Jon Grove Memorial Match

In honor of our late Trustee and Executive Officer, who was a lifelong competition shooter, the Maryland Rifle Club sponsors an annual Jon Grove Memorial Match.

The match is usually held in late Summer, check the event calendar for more info. Match is limited to 40 shooters so sign up early!

Match fee is usually $25 per competitor, and all fees will be donated to the Jon Grove memorial scholarship fund. In 2017 a scholarship of $2500 was awarded to a Maryland high school senior.

Calibers from .22 to .30 are permitted. Any semi-auto rifle, any sights permitted, and course of fire will be NRA Individual Rattle Battle.

A plaque will be awarded for the high score.
