Maryland Rifle Club Summer Picnic and Shootout

Maryland Rifle Club will host a picnic for members and their guests on Saturday, June 14th, starting at 11 a.m., at the 100-yard range.  In addition to serving hamburgers, hotdogs, 1 bushel of crabs, sodas and waters, we have reserved 10 shooting lanes and invite members to bring any fun, obscure, and/or cool guns (and ammo) to shoot with your fellow members. Many people have never held an M1 Garand, an M1 Carbine, a Russian SVT-40, Finnish Mosin-Nagants, or any of the old school contract Mausers, so bring them!  Bill Perry is also planning a .22 shooting contest (winner take all), so bring $5 and a .22 rifle and ammo if you’d like to participate. We might also have open a few lanes at the 200-yard range with our electronic targets for anyone who wants to try the high power experience.  Please feel free to bring a dish or drink of your choice, but there will be NO alcohol consumption by anyone shooting until after they are done. We will have some picnic tables, but please bring a folding/portable chair if you have one.

If you’d like to attend, then please book the appropriate number of spots through our website.  So that we can plan accordingly, bookings will close on June 10, 2025.  We will spend a significant amount of money on this picnic based on the amount of folks who book spots, so if you book a spot and change your mind then PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let us know of your change so that we do not waste club funds.  We have ways of finding you :D
