The AR-15 Service Rifle Clinic was presented by the Maryland Rifle Club with assistance from the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore (AGC) and the Maryland State Rifle Team. The clinic is run once a year in the early spring in preparation for the following High Power match season. Anyone with an interest in High Power Rifle Match shooting is invited to attend.
The purpose of the clinic is to introduce shooters to the basic techniques of High Power Rifle shooting to and to prepare the shooter to enter his or her first matches using the AR-15 Service Rifle. The emphasis is on match shooting and the person looking for instruction on how to shoot a deer rifle is advised to find a NRA basic rifle course.
This is a two day clinic with instruction and shooting every day.
The clinic was held:
March 29, 2008; and April 5, 2008 and was a geat success. 40 people attended
the first day and 36 shooters were able attend the second day.
